Chicken Mo:Mo & Achar Recipe (Nepali Recipe)

CHICKEN MO:MO INGREDIENTS:

  • Minced Chicken

  • Cabbage

  • Onions

  • Ginger & Garlic Paste

  • Momo Masala

  • Salt

  • Green Onions

  • Water

  • Oil

  • Turmeric

  • Chili Powder

  • Cumin Powder

  • Coriander Powder

  • Fresh Coriander

  • Mo:Mo Wrap (I'm using gyoza wrappers)

HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN MO:MO:

1. Dice your onions, cabbage, green onions, coriander

2. Put your minced chicken in a big bowl and add all the seasonings

3. Add the dice onions, cabbage, green onions & coriander

4. Add your ginger & garlic paste

5. Add some water & oil

6. Mix until combined

7. Let the meat marinate for 30 minutes before wrapping

8. After 30 minutes, wrap the momo and steam & you're all done!

TOMATO ACHAR INGREDIENTS:

  • Tomatoes

  • Ginger

  • Fresh Coriander

  • Garlic

  • Red Onions

  • Cumin Seeds

  • Oil

  • Chili Powder

  • Mo:Mo Masala

  • Salt

  • Lemon

HOW TO MAKE TOMATO ACHAR:

1. Roughly chop a bulb of ginger

2. Use 4 cloves of garlic (peeled & smashed)

3. Slice your tomatoes

4. Slice your red onions

5. Heat the pan & oil

6. Add your cumin seeds & let it bloom

7. Add the chilli powder

8. Add the garlic & ginger and mix until fragrant

9. Add onions & mix until onions are soft

10. Add in your tomatoes

11. Cover until tomatoes are mushy

12. Mash your tomatoes and it will create a gravy-like texture

13. Season with salt & pepper

14. Add your Momo Masala

15. Add the chopped coriander

16. Add the lemon juice

17. Cool it down for 30 minutes

18. Blend & you're done!

19. Serve with your freshly steamed Mo:Mo!
