Easy Airfryer Taiwanese Chicken Popcorn

Recipe

CHICKEN MARINADE INGREDIENTS:

  • Chicken Thigh

  • Soy sauce

  • Shao Xing Wine

  • Ginger Paste

  • Garlic Paste

  • Pepper

  • 1 egg white

FLOUR MIXTURE INGREDIENTS:

  • Potato Starch

  • Five Spice powder

  • Pepper

  • Sugar

DRY RUB INGREDIENTS:

  • Five spice powder

  • Chili Powder (optional)

  • Garlic Powder

  • Onion Powder

  • Salt

HOW TO COOK:

1. Debone and cut the chicken thigh into chunks

2. Place in a bowl and marinate with ginger paste, garlic paste, pepper, shao xing wine, & soy sauce for 30 minutes

3. While marinating, let's prepare the flour mixture

4. Mix all the flour mixture ingredients above in a separate bowl

5. After 30 minutes, we're ready to air fry!

6. Coat the marinated chicken with the flour mixture

7. Oil your air fryer and put the flour-coated chicken

8. Airfry for 12 minutes at 200C, flipping on the 7-minute mark

9. While air frying, combine all ingredients of the dry rub mixture in a separate bowl

10. After air frying the chicken, toss it in with the dry rub mixture

11. Serve with hot rice & veggies!

12. You're done!
