This is the creamiest, smoothest Leche Flan you’ll ever make — no bubbles, no cracks, and totally no‑fail. A classic Filipino dessert that melts in your mouth and works perfectly for parties, holidays, or sweet cravings.

Llanera Prep

  1. Take your Llaneras, add 1 tbsp of sugar and dissolve the sugar until it turns into amber in colour
  2. Set it aside

How to Make the Leche Flan

  1. In a big bowl, add in your 8 egg yolks, whisk slowly until everything is combined
  2. Add the condensed milk, whisk slowly until everything is combined
  3. Add the evaporated milk, whisk slowly until everything is combined
  4. Whisking slowly helps us prevent a lot of bubbles from forming in the mixture
  5. Add the vanilla extract, lemon juice & salt
  6. Mix until combined
  7. Prepare a separate bowl & get your strainer
  8. Strain it 3 times until you get no more lumps
  9. Add the mixture into the Llanera, cover with foil
  10. Steam for 1 hour until it’s cooked
  11. You’ll know that it’s cooked when you try to poke a toothpick in it and If there’s no mixture on the toothpick, then it’s all done!
  12. Cool the leche flan and serve
