  1. Heat up your pressure cooker, add oil
  2. Once oil is hot, add your cumin seeds
  3. Add turmeric
  4. Your cumin seeds should bloom (If it didn’t bloom, that means your oil is not hot enough)
  5. Saute for a minute
  6. Add the red lentils & saute for 1 minute
  7. Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, & salt
  8. Saute for 2 minutes
  9. Add the water
  10. Let it boil & cover
  11. After 2 whistles, turn off the heat
  12. Serve with rice
