In a hot pan with a couple of tablespoons of oil, add the cumin seeds and let them bloom.

Add the turmeric powder and sauté until it colours the oil.

Add the minced onion and garlic.

Sauté until the onions soften.

Add the potatoes and cook for a few minutes.

Add the green beans.

Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, and salt.

Toss everything together to coat the vegetables evenly.

Cover the pan on low heat and let it cook gently.

Toss again, cover briefly, and continue cooking until the potatoes and green beans are soft but not mushy.

Give it one final toss and finish cooking.

Serve alongside your main dish with rice.
